Mr. Tobbin is a seasoned entrepreneur and corporate leader with extensive experience in pharmaceutical distribution, manufacturing, and enterprise growth. From modest beginnings, he founded Tobinco Pharmaceuticals Limited and has grown it into one of Ghana’s leading pharmaceutical companies, distinguished by its nationwide market reach and operational scale.
He is widely recognized for pioneering a customer-focused and aggressive pharmaceutical distribution model that significantly improved access to medicines across Ghana. Today, Tobinco operates the widest pharmaceutical distribution network in the country, supported by over 200 distribution vehicles nationwide.

Mr. Tobbin’s leadership philosophy is anchored in integrity, discipline, ethical governance, and strategic growth, informed by strong biblical values and continuous self-development. He is currently the President of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Ghana (PMAG), an Elder of The Church of Pentecost and previously served as Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Sector of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI).

Mr. Tobbin has served as Board Chairman of Takoradi Technical University, Member of the Pentecost University Council, and Member of the Ghana Police Council (Police Board). He currently serves as Chancellor of the Entrance University of Health Sciences and Chief of the Apinto Traditional Area, where he holds the stool name Nana Amo Tobbin I.
